Our new furnace has been tested, shipped, and is now being installed at the Delaware facility.  Following testing, the furnace was disassembled, painted, and packed for shipment. The main furnace is approximately 70,000 lbs and a 75 ton crane was used to lift the furnace off the truckbed.

The new furnace will allow HandyTube to produce approximately 3.4M additional feet each year, and our annealing capacity will increase about 54%!

The temperature control system of our vacuum furnace is carefully monitored with weekly accuracy tests to ensure the furnace is reaching the set point temperature for proper annealing.
