HandyTube Corporation was the winners of 2018 ABOVE AND BEYOND SAFETY AWARD with “Safety Proctor Initiative”

In 2018, Steel Partners implemented a recognition program for the SP Operating Companies(OpCo) that are going “Above and Beyond” the normal regularity compliance requirements in environmental, health and safety (EH&S). HandyTube was voted as the OpCo with the most effective program. HandyTube initiated a “SAFETY PROCTOR” program, which allows an employee to actively participate in the site safety management. In recognition, HandyTube received an award and a BBQ lunch for all employees sponsored by the Corporate EH&S Department.
