Machine Operator’s – 2nd, 3rd and Weekend Shifts.

HandyTube is growing and we are looking for outstanding candidates!  HTC is a premiere stainless steel tubing manufacturer manufacturing long length seamless stainless steel coil tubing since 1981, located in Camden, Delaware with opportunities on our 2nd, 3rd, and possibly weekend shifts.  We provide high quality products for use in the energy, chemical processing and instrumentation, aerospace and defense, chromatography and shipbuilding industries.

HandyTube offers a great working environment and an excellent benefit package to include medical, dental, vision, 401k and paid vacation.  We are also offering a $500.00 sign on bonus for the right candidate!

Daily Shifts:
2nd Shift 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
3rd Shift 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Weekend Shifts: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
4th Shift – 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
5th Shift – 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check, drug-screen and physical, and must possess the following skill set:

  • Promote Safety as the Number One Priority of all HTC employees
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools, reach with hands and arms and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and operate machinery
  • Work in a light industrial environment
  • Strong desire to work and succeed in a team environment

General Accountant

HandyTube produces tubing of stainless steel, nickel, and specialty alloys in large volumes for mechanical and pressure applications sold to oil production, petrochemical, medical, aircraft, semiconductor, shipbuilding and general service industries throughout the world.

The General Accountant is an integral part of the Finance team, specifically responsible for the cost accounting and management reporting function for HandyTube.

IT Manager

Reporting to the Controller, the IT Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage all Network Systems at the Camden site. The IT Manager will maintain compliance with all industry standards and applicable laws. The IT Manager is accountable for maintaining and implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including IT risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures. Plan, conduct, and debrief regular IT exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. Act as a coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event. Maximize computer network and electronic capabilities by studying technical applications, securing information and providing solutions for company and individual users.

Machine Operator – 2nd Shift & 3rd

We are looking for Machine Operators to produce world class tube products for HTC using safe machine operating techniques and effective lean manufacturing principles. Machine Operators use various equipment and processes to convert steel coils into a more workable form. The Machine Operators then clean the coils and convert them into the desired diameter and length using continuous or semi-continuous production lengthening equipment. Finally, Machine Operators cut the coils and prepare them for shipment based on customer needs. These processes require strong attention to detail and precision. Reporting to a Shift Supervisor, the Machine Operators must be team players and committed to delivering only the best quality to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Senior Quality Technician

Reporting to the Director of Quality, the Senior Quality Technician primary responsibility is to ensure the plants systems and processes promote a World Class Quality culture. This is a multi-faceted position requiring excellent process improvement, change management and communication skills. To successfully meet this goal will require frequent coordination and cooperation with other members of the Leadership Team and other functional areas of the plant, including Production, Production Control, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Sales. The individual in this role would be functioning as if for a start-up organization and may wear different hats at any given time.
